Winnie, formerly Kiana, is living her best life in her new home! She came to the Fairfax County Animal Shelter needing extensive eye surgery. The shelter was able to get her the medical support she needed, setting her up to fit right in with her new family. 

Even though Winnie ended up needing to have one of her eyes removed, you’d never know! Her family says they were initially worried about how she would fit in but that it was never an issue. She navigates the world like any cat they’ve ever had and has quickly become their young son’s “special girl.” They can’t imagine their family without her.
