Kanga was brought in as a lost pet by the Animal Protective Police. Having no tags or microchipping and no inquiries from her previous owners, Kanga became a ward of the Shelter where she was given a dental workup (thanks to Friends!) and some behavioral training. After warming up considerably to the Shelter staff and volunteers, Kanga nailed her Adoption Audition, with the auditioners calling her a joy! With that, her adoption proceeded without delay.  

Five months later, Kanga continues to be light and happiness to her new humans and they are so thrilled that she is part of their family.
