Pronto (now Duman which translates as “smoke” in Turkish) was found as a stray with a significant wound to his leg as well as dental disease and a misaligned jaw. Luckily, the wound was able to be treated and the jaw was stable. So after some reparable dental work (funded by our Friends donors), Duman was ready for adoption.
Even through his treatments, Duman exhibited a desire to be loved and his new family is getting that affection in spades. “Duman has grown very comfortable and confident in our household! He loves to hang out with the kids or ‘make biscuits’ on his Squishmallow bed. He is both snuggly and playful and has even been known to get the zoomies from time to time! He has been a wonderful and beloved addition to our family, and we are very thankful to all who helped rescue him from his life on the streets and treat the injuries he sustained there.”
