Rex was surrendered to the Shelter after being thrust into a multiple-dog living situation which was not ideal for him. Although a senior, Rex was in overall good health and was soon ready for his first (and only!) Adoption Audition. Rex hit all the right notes and was adopted shortly thereafter (and went home with a Senior Pet Voucher to Pender, compliments of Friends).

Rex’s new parents are absolutely smitten, “Adopting a senior dog was the best thing we could have done. We have promised Rex a fabulous retirement. He is all love and joy.”

Looking fabulous in his winter sweater, Rex is ready to snuggle on cold nights!
