Hulk (now Bruno) was a skittish year-old pup who was found on the streets in early 2024 and brought to the Shelter with respiratory issues. Upon his vet evaluation, it was determined that he would need a soft pallet revision to correct his labored breathing. With financial help from Friends, Bruno’s procedure was a success! Not long after, Bruno was snapped up by his new family after a successful Adoption Audition and they couldn’t be happier. “He is our second greatest decision, only after our first FCAS adopted dog, Ghost. 😊”
After a slow and patient introduction to Bruno’s much older sister, Ghost, they have simply become the best of friends and play every day. She’s taught him manners and he’s become a great listener.
Bruno is not only a great doggie sibling, but he’s become the perfect human companion. “He comes to the office with me every day! He gets along with all of my co-workers and enjoys some occasional rough-housing with the other office dog. He’s a quick learner, already responding to ‘place’ and ‘wait’ and walks nicely on leash. We’re working on our excitable jumping and he’s getting there!”
“We could not be happier to have our quirky, grumbly guy Bruno in our lives and we’re so thankful for Friends’ contribution to his care while with FCAS.”
