Chowda was a lonesome stray who luckily was found by our Fairfax County Animal Protection Police and brought to the Shelter. As is common with the bulldog breed, Chowda  needed surgery to repair his cherry eye (an affliction of the tear gland) as well as palate surgery to help with his breathing, the costs for which Friends fully covered.  Besides having a mug that any mom or dad could love, Chowda came out of his surgery with his wonderfully positive and cheery disposition intact, sharing his love equally between humans and other animals. He’s the total bulldog package!
