Delly

Dapper Delly

Delly, a nine-year-old Corgi, was surrendered to the Shelter in 2024 by his original owners who had a young child at home. Delly was a bit set in his ways so the family thought it best to rehome him in an environment without small children. Thanks to the support he received from Friends of the Fairfax County Animal Shelter, a comprehensive physical and x-rays identified a compressed disc in his back that was causing him pain. After treatment, he clearly felt much better, enough to ace his Adoption Audition and quickly settle in with his new family of which he is a treasured member.

Delly adores all of his new humans and is a sweet, funny, playful dog. He walks well on a leash, knows so many tricks, and even loves playing with his MUCH older cat sibling!  All around, Delly is just a very good boy!
