Esme came to the Shelter after her family fell on hard times. At 10 years of age, she is in the prime of her life, particularly after having her thyroid regulated and completing some extensive dental work (thanks to Friends!). Her new owner happened to see her on the Shelter’s Facebook page and, appearing to be of the same or similar breed to his current pet, thought Esme would be a perfect fit in their family. And he was right!

 Esme has settled in seamlessly loves her new two- and four-legged family members, particularly her “brother,” Gunner (pictures don’t lie!).  She is a sweet dog and actually learned a few new tricks – proof that the old adage is indeed true!
