Honey Pie came to the Shelter after being displaced due to Hurricane Helene (Asheville NC) in September 2024. Because she came from a good home, this luxurious girl was in great condition, only needing some general dental care (funded by Friends!) before being ready for adoption. 

In her new home, Honey Pie is doing amazingly well! She has settled in and has become not only a little Queen but quite the snuggle bug. “Every night we enjoy snuggles on the couch and helping mom eat her dinner.” As Shelter staff had noted, her new mom can confirm that Honey Pie is a chatter box! “She loves a good conversation [and gives me a full report on] what she’s been up to every afternoon.” 

 Honey Pie and her mom spent their first Christmas (2024) together and had the best time getting into all the presents under the tree. She’s such a beautiful lady, and it’s clear that she is forever loved.
