Jax (formerly Zeus Marshmallow) was surrendered to the Shelter in December 2024. A big fellah with lots of energy, the behavioral team took their time working with Jax where he broke some bad habits, learned to take commands and trust his caretakers. Thanks to Friends financial assistance for some much-needed dental work, Jax was ready for his Adoption Audition.

It didn’t take long for that audition to become a permanent placement! Jax’s parents sum up their feelings with just two words – “Simply wonderful.” Although he’s strong, he’s adjusted quite well to a studier harness which makes his three walks per day most enjoyable. His new family looks forward to socializing him with other family members’ dogs and envision fun outings to local breweries and wineries.
