Tubbs (now Ollie) is an 11-year-old chihuahua mix who sadly was found as a stray in Alexandria. At his advanced age, life on the streets was no life for this little fellow but luckily, Animal Protective Police was able to bring him to Animal Services.
After some dental work (compliments of Friends) and bilateralcherry eye treatments, Ollie was ready to start his life anew. His new family were avid dog-people and couldn’t resist Ollie’s lovable personality. “Ollie is shy, quiet, reserved, obedient, and over-the-moon-affectionate.” He happily defers to his nine-year-old “younger” sister and is “the most obedient and most affectionate dog” they’ve ever had. Even though he’s still working out some toileting issues and may have developed a bit of hitch in his old man step, his loving demeanor wins out every time!
“We LUV Ollie to death!!! Thank you for caring for him and…thanks FRIENDS for their resources!!”
