Ruger first came into the Fairfax County Animal Shelter with a leg fracture needing repair. After an examination by the veterinarian, it was determined that Ruger would need surgery in order to repair the fractured leg.
Ruger did phenomenally, and after the surger, she was adopted and is loving her new home! She loves to play with her new family and chase squirrels iin the yard. She is a social butterfly who loves to meet all the dogs and people when she goes to the dog park. She is living her best life thanks to the hard work of the shelter and our caring community.
