Cutie-bug Kahlo

Cutie-bug Kahlo

At just two years old, Kahlo (formerly Seamus) had already been through a lot. He was found by the side of the road by an Animal Services Officer, suffering from two broken legs as a result of being hit by a car. His injuries were such that amputation of one leg was required, with just a temporary pin for the other. Thankfully, Friends was able to fund these procedures and his recovery went exceedingly well. Not long after, Kahlo was adopted, finding his forever home.

His new mom marvels, “[Kahlo] is the most perfect tripod cat (although I think he is secretly an undercover dog…he will always sit for a treat). [He has] proved that a three-wheel drive is much faster and more efficient than four. While he is energetic and talkative, he is equally just as mellow, cuddly, and trusting (what cat purrs while they get their nails clipped?) He insists on sleeping next to me every night (but demands to be under the covers), enjoys belly rubs, walks in the backyard in his harness, and sits on command!”

“Long story short, Kahlo is the most perfect cat I could have hoped for and compliments my life in every way. I want to say thank you to all the people who I interacted with during the adoption process, because they were truly so kind and patient with all my nerves and questions. Most importantly, Kahlo is forever grateful for everyone who contributed to his procedures and recovery. I cannot say thank you enough.”
