Sammy is a high-energy German Shepherd who simply wasn’t a good fit with his original owners. Once he was placed at the Shelter and began working with their behavioral staff, Sammy began to relax and open up to fraternizing with both his two- and four-legged friends. Unfortunately, due to some anxiety, Sammy ingested parts of a towel which needed extracting. Thanks to the generosity of donors to Friends of the Fairfax County Animal Shelter, Sammy came through his operation with flying colors and was able to continue his behavioral training on the road to his forever home!
