Terrance

Tender Terrance

Terrance was found by Animal Protection Police with several active wounds. Once those were treated and his dental work completed (via Friends!), Terrance was stage-ready for his Adoption Audition. Cut to the audition humans – who saw Terrance’s picture on the Shelter website. Having just their 16+ year-old Yorkipoo, they could tell immediately that Terrance was also a Yorkipoo. From the moment he arrived home for his audition, everyone knew he was perfect for their family. “He took to the kids right away and has been my little shadow ever since. He is so snuggly and sweet and just melts all our hearts.” Terrance has also bonded with another new family member from the Shelter – a kitten named Cornbread. “They are always together! Cornbread loves to jump on Terrance and nip his ears and Terrance is a very patient and kind big brother.”

As a final note, mom shared, “Terrance has recovered beautifully from his dental surgery, neutering and wound care, thanks to the Friends of The Fairfax County Animal Shelter. I’m so glad he received the care he needed to become adoptable and join his forever family.”
